General FAQ’s

1. Do you treat patients that live outside of the United States?

Yes. Many of the patients Dr. Arata has treated come from abroad. We’ve treated patients from every continent, besides Antarctica.

2. May I speak with patients you have treated?

Federal laws prohibit disclosure of protected health information.

3. Why should I choose Dr. Arata?

Dr. Arata has multiple certifications and has Integrative Medicine training from George Washington University. He provides comprehensive, integrative care in our new safe, state-of-the-art environment. Our treatment program is uniquely designed to optimize patient safety.

4. Are your physicians ‘Board Certified’?

Yes. Dr. Arata is a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist and several other specialties including Functional Medicine.

5. Have your physicians had ‘fellowship training’?

Yes. He completed a fellowship in endovascular procedures at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. We feel fellowship training is very important to ensuring expert care and maximum safety for our patients.

6. Are your facilities and centers ‘accredited’?

The Medical Center was specifically designed and built to specialize in Interventional Radiology procedures such as venograms, angiograms, angioplasties, and stenting. Our center is AAAHC accredited.

7. If there was an emergency, do you work at hospitals in your area?

We have active privileges at area hospitals.

8. Do you offer travel insurance?

We do not; however, our office may have access to information and contacts to provide you with these services.
